WorkshopsSAFER understands that college staff have an important, though difficult, role to play in the reduction of sexual violence and the improvement of college sexual assault policies. SAFER offers customized workshops to college staff who are working on these issues. We will work with you to develop a workshop or webinar that meets your needs and your budget. SAFER faculty and staff alliesIf you are a faculty member or staff member and you would like to support students in your area working to reform their sexual assault policy, you can become a member of SAFER's Faculty and Staff Allies. Members are included in an electronic directory, provided to student organizers upon request, which enables them to contact you when they need help. As a member of the Faculty and Staff Allies, your contact information will be made available only to students working for sexual assault policy reform. All requests for information are carefully screened to ensure that no one else will see this list of contacts. Your information will not be released to any other party, for any reason. Students may contact you for a variety of reasons: they may ask you to ask you to speak at an event, to serve as a faculty advisor, or they may just ask for advice. Prominent faculty have proved instrumental in past student movements for progressive causes, from living wage activism to fights for ethnic studies departments and against unfair tuition increases.
