PR and Fundraising Intern (Fall Semester 2008)

Dedicated self-starter needed to work as an intern in SAFER’s Brooklyn office. Great opportunity to work with small feminist non-profit working to end sexual assault on college campuses. The intern will help plan and implement SAFER's media outreach and fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate commitment to our mission, be creative, and work well with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills, persistence, and computer skills are essential. Some experience with social marketing and college journalism preferred. SAFER offers interns a $600 semester stipend. Hours: 8-10hrs/week for 14 weeks. Flexible schedule for students. Some telecommuting possible.
